Scientometrics is one of the most common methods of evaluating research management and scientific activities. It examines scientific productions quantitatively, scientific policy-making, scientific communication of scholars, and mapping of science in specific topic. Visualization, depicts the scientific and research productions of researchers and scientists in a specific field of science. The purpose of the present study was to analyze the Scientometrics and visualization of articles published in the Rehabilitation Archive Journal of the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences in the Web of Science database between 2005 and 2025
Methods: The present study is applied in terms of purpose and a descriptive survey in terms of method. To extract information from the Web of Science database, the outputs were taken in the form of an Excel file. And the VOS viewer mapping software was used to visualize. Along with the analysis of the maps, tables related to each item were extracted and explained in detail. Without any restrictions, all articles were included in the research process.
Results: Based on the findings in the Web of Science database (861 documents), the H index of this publication is eleven, the language of all published articles is English, and the citation rate per article was 1.57. The most cooperation in publishing documents is related to Iran and the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences (341 documents). The most prolific author, Seyed Ali Hosseini, is at the top with 41 article references and the keyword children with 59 co-occurrences and 347 links to other keywords.
Conclusions: The study shows an increasing trend in the number of published articles and citations received since the beginning of the scientific activity of this journal. The findings of this study can serve as a roadmap for researchers in the field of rehabilitation and provide valuable insights for future studies. This research can be effective in the university's macro-research policies.
