Abstract

Objective: the purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of hospital based cardiac rehabilitation on quality of life of patients with myocardial infarction, which have referred to Baghiatallah hospital in Tehran during the year of 2010.

Materials & Methods: in this semi-experimental research, 50 patients with myocardial infarction in the form of sequential sampling for experimental group and control group in the form of matched probability group (based on age, sex and education) were divided into two groups. First group includes hospital based cardiac rehabilitation (n=25) and later control group (n=25). The information collected with demographic and MC New quality of life questionnaires .The rehabilitation program consisted of twenty session education program and cardiac rehabilitation program. To investigate the differences between experimental and control group, independent samples t-test and paired t-test were used. The education material included some information on diet, medication, coronary risk factors and explanation of the patient cardiac event and exercise.

Results: the research finding indicates the improvement in quality of life for experimental group following the application of hospital based cardiac rehabilitation, this improvement includes all dimensions such as physical (P<0.05), psychological (P<0.05), social (P<0.05) and overall (P<0.05) aspects of quality of life.

Conclusion: since there is no meaningful differences in quality of life between experimental and control groups before the application of hospital based cardiac rehabilitation, it can be concluded that this differences derived from hospital based cardiac rehabilitation.

Abstract

Objective: The objective of this research was to investigate the organizational learning capability and it’s barriers and facilitators from Rehabilitation centers employees point of view in Tehran in 1391.

Materials & Methods: This study was descriptive – analytical and was conducted sectional. Statistical population include Rehabilitation centers staff in Tehran in 2012 that samples were randomly selected from centers and sample size was 278 (including 64 mels,148 females). For data gathering , barriers and facilitators of organizational learning and organizational learning capability questionnaires were used. Data were analyzed by using SPSS software

Results: Results indicated high significant organizational learning capability among rehabilitation center staffs. (SD=41/5, M=2/156). Organizational learning capability was significantly negative relation with Organizational learning barriers. (P&le0/01, gama=-0/6). But relation between Organizational learning capability and Organizational learning facilitators was not statistically significant (P>0/05, gama=-0/16).

Conclusion: The results showed organizational learning capability in rehabilitation centers staff in Tehran was high value .the most important barrier of learning organization was day to day pressure of work and the most important facilitator of this was an appreciation of strengths and weaknesses in learning between rehabilitation centers staff. So due to promoting organizational productivity it is necessary to paying attention to it’s barriers and making plans for removing or reducing them and increasing organizational learning facilitators in rehabilitation centers is offered.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment and its dimensions on the Welfare staff in Tehran 2013.

Materials & Methods: In this cross - sectional study, one hundred eight staff of Tehran Welfare were selected by random sample, and the sample size of the previous studies. Data were collected using two standard questionnaires OCB, and Organizational Commitment, which includes the three dimensions, affective commitment, normative commitment and continuance commitment and analyzed by statistical methods such as: Pearson correlation coefficient and ANOVA.

Results: The finding showed Between OCB and organizational commitment there was significant and positive correlation (P&le0.01, r=0.325). Also the dimensions of organizational commitment: affective commitment and normative commitment have a significant positive relationship with OCB, but not significant relationship OCB with a continuous commitment. ANOVA results showed that the average OCB in age, type of employment and employee experience is different. And Continuous commitment in hiring employees is different and emotional commitment in Background employees is different.

Conclusion: Based on the findings we conclude that the enhancement of organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment and staff of Tehran can be increased.

Abstract

Objective According to a report published by the World Health Organization in 2011, 15% of the world's population is disabled, which sums up to more than a billion people. People with disabilities comprise the largest group of people in Asia. Communities can facilitate the participation of people with disabilities in society by creating an atmosphere that is appropriate for them, an activity which involves the urban modification of the environment. Therefore, this study aimed at determining the attitude of managers and staff with respect to urban modification for people afflicted with disabilities in the municipality of Tehran city.
Methods & Materials A cross-sectional, descriptive - analytic study that was conducted by cross - sectional method, that was used with the help of a valid and reliable questionnaire “Assessment of attitude of managers and staffs in about urban modification for people with disabilities”. The study population comprised all managers and staffs who were working with urban modification in the municipality of Tehran City. Questionnaires were distributed among 16 managers and experts working in the modification staff of the municipality of Tehran. A total of 162 people working in one of the deputies, were selected by census to participate in the study. This study measured attitude of mangers and staffs were working in the municipality of Tehran, towards urban modification for people with disabilities in Tehran city. The Levene test was used to determine for the equality of variances. To calculate whether there is a statistically significant difference between the means of the two groups, the independent t-test was used carried out. For a comparison between two groups and ANOVA was also used to compare between the groups. Data analyzed by using The findings were evaluated using Software SPSS22.
Results The findings showed that the attitude of 17 (6.9%) mangers and staffs regarding urban modification for people with disabilities was at the intermediate level. The attitude of 112 persons (9.62%) was at high levels and that of 49 persons (27.5%) was at a very good level. The average score of attitudes of manager and staffs who were familiar with disabilities was higher than those who were unfamiliar with disabilities. In addition, the average attitude score of women was better than that of men. The mean score of the attitude of people aged 55 years and older, having a Master's degree and above, and those having 12-17 years of work experience was higher than others. No significant difference was found between the groups with respect to gender (P=0.37) and responsibility (P=0.37). However, there was a significant difference between the two groups with respect to familiarity with disabilities (P=0.01) and education (P=0.001). 
Conclusion This study showed that there is a significant difference in the attitude of managers and staff of municipality regarding urban modification. Recruiting people with higher educational qualifications and awareness or familiarity with the phenomenon of disability could help in the process of urban modification in the community. It is recommended to utilize the findings of this study to formulate urban modification programs across communities for the benefit of the disabled.
